To view a snapshot, in matrix form, of university research activity in the field of ethanol, please click here.  Leading the way on ethanol-related research with aggressive programs are Iowa State, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Purdue, UC-Berkeley, and VA Tech. Many of the programs focus on DDGs and cellulosic ethanol.

RFF/RFA'sweb-based ethanol curriculum, developed through a partnership with the Future Farmers of America (FFA), was launched in September. This educational tool is tailored for use by college and high school teachers, as well as other instructors desiring an ethanol curriculum.  These ethanol web modules focus on the ethanol production process, the benefits of ethanol production, the interplay between renewable fuels and agriculture, and wide range of other issues. Modules may be accessed via FFA's Team Ag Ed Learning Center (TAELC) at: http://aged.learn.com/learncenter.asp?id=178409

RFF, in concert with FFA, will continue to monitor the content of the curriculum to keep the information current and ensure that this valuable teaching tool is being utilized to its full potential.
